Safe Steps First Aid and Resuscitation Courses for Parents and Carers of Children
Venue: Berwick Children's Centre
These are two hour introductory courses on first aid and resuscitation for parents/carers of babies and young children. Those attending will be given the opportunity to practice resuscitation skills on baby mannequins and learn how to respond in an emergency situation.
The course is delivered by a professional and a certificate of attendance is given at the end of the session.
You are welcome to bring young babies along with you but a creche is not available.

Baby Safe
Venue: Berwick, Belford and Wooler
8 week course
An introduction to Home Safety and Child Development. This course is suitable for parents, carers, childminders and students who are interested in learning more about how babies and children develop and how to provide a safer environment for them both inside and outside the home.
Limited creche places may be available.
